Imperial Racing Green

An Imperial College Fuel Cell Hybrid Racing team called 'Imperial Racing Green' was founded by Dr Gregory Offer and Dr Ralph Clague in 2006. It is currently the only UK entry into Formula Zero which is an international competition to develop fuel cell driven racing carts, driven by students, and regulated by the FIA. The first race was held in Rotterdam in August 2008 and Imperial Racing Green achieved a podium finish, coming third out of six. Imperial Racing Green is now developing a single seater Formula Student class hydrogen fuel cell powered hybrid race car which will compete in Formula Student at Silverstone in July 2009. Contact Gregory Offer for further details.
